Using WOFF Fonts on a Website

WOFF files are webfont files and are not normally installed directly on Windows or macOS.
Upload the .WOFF file to your website directory and connect it using CSS.

CSS Example:

@font-face {
    font-family: "Auvellique";
    src: url("fonts/Auvellique-Regular.woff") format("woff");
    font-weight: 700;
    font-style: normal;
    font-display: swap;
}

body {
    font-family: "Auvellique", sans-serif;
}

Example Folder Structure:

your-website/
├── index.html
├── style.css
└── fonts/
    └── Auvellique-Bold.woff

Important Notes

- Use either the OTF or TTF version for desktop installation.
- Installing both versions at the same time may cause duplicate font conflicts.
- OTF is recommended for most modern design applications.
- TTF offers broad compatibility with older software.
- WOFF is intended for website use.
- Restart Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office, or other applications after installation.
- For website projects, make sure your font license allows webfont usage.
