Fanwood Text Font originates from Fairfield, typeface that was issued in 1940, Ruzicka, one of the finest Czech-American typesetter.
The roman and italic are further reduced in contrast than the original; this timing was made for the better e-readability on the Amazon Kindle 3 hardware.
