Atlan Font is a Latin “spin-off” of classical geometric sanstypefaces. Inspired by Rudolf Koch’s Kabel typeface while considering modern design trends, Atlan was created – creating an appealing font based on highly expressive geometric sansserif fonts from 1920s.
As part of our design challenge, we undertook to reinterpret these features without losing their expressiveness to produce an effective and versatile design. This resulted in an e-type font with display characteristics suitable for lightweight text that uses uniform color palette.
This family provides an assortment of styles, ranging from the elegant Thin weight designed for corporate and publishing websites, to its heavier variant (perfect for packaging or logotypes) which emphasizes all of its stylistic attributes.
